Your cable waste is worth a lot. Also for the environment.

We not only pay a precisely calculated price for cable waste but also sort and recycle it. This allows the copper and plastic to be reused. A huge added value for the circular economy and the planet. No more precious raw materials are lost and the pollution of copper mining is reduced. So together, we make the world a little cleaner.

We are constantly scrutinising our recycling process.
How can it be better?

By 2050, the global copper supply is all but exhausted, while the demand for copper is rising due to the production of electric cars. We therefore recycle copper and plastic from cable waste. We then offer these as new raw materials.

We aim to work climate-neutral and already follow strict European environmental legislation. So you too as a customer, are in order and contribute to the circular economy and a clean planet.

Our recycling process
in 4 steps

Sorting by quality and type

First, we manually sort the delivered cable waste into pure copper and impure copper. All impurities (iron, lead, stainless steel, plastic, etc.) are removed and kept separately.

Breaking cables, removing iron and dust

Using a crane, we put the sorted, copper-containing cables into our pre-crusher. Around 6 to 10 tonnes per hour. This grinds everything into coarse pieces of around 3 to 4 cm. Then the dust is sucked out of the mixture a first time. Afterwards, the mixture passes over a magnetic belt and the iron is sorted out.

Separating plastic and copper

The pure and impure copper is processed on two separate lines, on which the pre-crushed material is ground more finely. Afterwards, the plastic is separated from the copper.

For the impure copper, we apply an additional innovative machining process. As a result, we still get 50% of the pure copper that slipped through our fingers manually. This way, we recover everything to the maximum.

Two new raw materials

After separation, we are left with two raw materials: copper and plastic granules. We sell these new raw materials for reuse in numerous industries.

Our pure copper contains 99.99% copper (Class 1) and our impure copper at least 98.5% (Class 2).
